"O Say, Can You Remember the Words? is the tenth episode of season 1.
Plot[]
Miley, Lilly, and Oliver are in drama class, doing exercises. When their teacher Mr. Corelli announces they will be doing Romeo and Juliet, both Miley and Lilly are reluctant to end up with Oliver as their partner. However, Miley ends up with Oliver. They start working on the play, but Oliver can't focus, and keeps making silly jokes. Miley soon finds out, that due to an experience a long time ago, Oliver can't be serious in front of an audience. She gets mad that he is never serious and tells her father she will bail on him, just as Oliver is coming into the room. Oliver gets mad too.
Later, at a game, Miley sings "The Star Spangled Banner", but because she is so distracted by her fight with Oliver, she accidentally sings Shakespeare. She is nationally embarrassed, and now too scared to perform out of fear she'll forget the words to a song again. .Lily tries to convince Oliver to come support Miley when she goes on a show called Top Rockers, but Oliver refuses since he's still mad at her. In her dressing room MIley is scared that she'll forget the words to her song, but her dad tells her she'll do fine, then she asks him to explain why she's sweating under her Hannah Montana wig. Then Lilly, dressed as Lola in a purple wig, brings cue cards with her lyrics on them. However, these lyrics get jumpy as she starts to dance to the song that Hannah is singing and blocked by many different people, and Hannah finally falls down, and messes up her song. Then Oliver starts singing along, and so does everyone else, and Miley remembers the lyrics. In the end, Miley apologizes to Oliver.
In a subplot, Jackson has to cure Rico's candy habit after a bad trip to the dentist, but this soon becomes his own obsession as he becomes more addicted to candy than Rico was. Then Jackson has a dream that he will get really fat and Rico will get very strong. Jackson wakes up and tries to stop eating junk food. While watching his sister's concert and eating carrots, he has a hallucination that the pillows on the couch are talking chocolate bunnies.
