Grandma Ruby (born July 4, 1952) is Jackson and Miley's maternal grandmother and Susan Stewart's mother, Robby Stewart's mother-in-law
She had Susan at 17 years old.
She is rarely mentioned in the series, although Robby says that she goes to singles bingo. Robby seems to still be in touch with her, even despite the death of her daughter; Robby's wife Susan about 3 years before the start of the show. In Hannah Montana: The Movie, Ruby's birthday is Robby's excuse for bringing the family back to Tennessee for two weeks. Ruby helps teach Miley the value of family and staying true to oneself.
