"Ready, Set, Don't Drive" is the second episode of Season 3. The title is inspired by cast member Billy Ray Cyrus's song "Ready, Set, Don't Go".
Plot[]
Miley wants to be the first in her class to have a driver's license and is taking a test. Unfortunately, her driving instructor makes her new car dirty and she kicks him out, resulting in failing the test. Miley is relieved because she only told Lilly about getting the driving license. Lilly, unfortunately, also told Oliver, who told everyone that Miley got her license. Miley finds out that Amber is the one who got the license first and, to get back at her, lies that she got the license first and she'll drive to the upcoming beach party. Miley begs her father to let her re-take the test on the same day, but he refuses and tells her that she has two weeks to re-take the test. Miley re-takes the test, but as Hannah. On the way to the party, Miley is pulled over by a policeman due to her turn signal on. Miley gets arrested because she showed a Hannah license as Miley. Miley is forced to reveal to the policeman and his daughter, who's the fan of Hannah, her secret. The policeman's daughter is not convinced that Miley is Hannah, until Miley sings to her, the girl promises not to reveal her secret. Miley's father finds out about her arrest and drives her to the beach party to embarrass her. Meanwhile, Rico stays at the Stewarts' home due to his parents out for a weekend. Rico begins to drive Jackson insane.

- It is also seen that their home address starts with 451 Destiny Lane. Destiny is Miley's birth name, eventually it was officially changed to Miley Ray.
- It is also revealed that Miley is 5 feet and 84 inches tall.
- Miley's date of birth was seen on her drivers licence which is, November 23, 1992. Making her 16 years old. This is her actual date of birth.
- Robbie is 6 feet and 2 inches tall.
- According to Kelsey DiAria, the episode "It's My Party and I'll Lie If I Want To", takes place on November 4th, 2006.
- Kelsey also mentioned that the episode "You're So Vain, You Probably Think This Zit Is About You" takes place on March 17th , 2005.

- When Miley is waiting in line to retake her test as Hannah, the woman at the desk refuses to let the Governor of California in for his appointment. This is a reference to Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was the Governor of California at the time. When the woman says, in an imitation of his voice, "You're appointment has been cancelled", he responds with "I'll be back". This is a reference to Schwarzenegger's iconic role as the titular character in The Terminator.
- The title of the episode is a reference to Billy Ray Cyrus’ song Ready, Set, Don’t Go.

- Though, It's My Party and I'll Lie If I Want To (episode 5) aired before the events of You're So Vain, You Probably Think This Zit Is About You (episode 13) , it is mentioned that You're So Vain, You Probably Think This Zit Is About You happened in 2005 and It's My Party and I'll Lie If I Want To happened in 2006, which, in a sitcom makes sence, but that is not the way the episodes aired. But, this might be due to the production and filming codes.
