Amber Addison is a mean girl at Seaview High who's in Miley, Lilly and Oliver's grade. She is portrayed by Shanica Knowles.

Biography

She's been painful for the main characters since the first episode of the first season. She's seen many times trying to humiliate Miley and her friends. Amber and her best friend, Ashley Dewitt, are fairly one-dimensional characters for the most part (or at least Ashley is). Of the two girls, Amber's the more dominant and intelligent one of the two, and she also has a much better singing voice than Ashley. Both girls are shown to be huge fans of Hannah Montana, which is ironically real, since Miley herself is actually Hannah Montana.

Eventually, Amber revealed that up until she attended middle school, she was considered to be "the geeky kid with the glasses" who everyone bullied, which is her most embarrassing secret (that even Ashley doesn't know, even though she's supposed Amber's best friend). From that, it can be assumed that Amber's bad and sour disposition is at least partially the result of her getting bullied all the time when she was younger.

• She was editor for the yearbook at Seaview Junior-Senior High School.
• She is a recurring character in Season 1 and Season 2. She appears in two episodes in Season 3. She only appears once in Season 4 in the series finale Wherever I Go.
• One of the two Season 3 episodes she appears in is Uptight (Oliver's All Right), which is an edited version of the Season 2 episode No Sugar, Sugar, which if not counted would make her only have 1 appearance in the season
• Amber admitted in the series finale that she would've "dumped" Ashley if the latter wasn't also rich.
